Hello everyone! this is Parsa from Zee, and you are watching the second episode of Visual Reaction Design
Today, we’ll talk about a very important factor called “rules of attention.”
As a person or a company, we’re all looking for ways to attract.
But first, we need to take a step back,
What is attention?
How does it occur?
Do you and your company have to be so exceptionally excellent at what you do that people simply cannot choose anyone else over you?
Well, No!
It doesn’t work like that
In fact, most people are loyal to companies or individuals that are not actually that good!
They’re just following the rules of attention.
So what makes a company or person the perfect beacon for attention?
I want you to remember your 9-year-old self, in school, 9 AM, already exhausted.
The teacher comes in, with a rock-solid hello, and no smile, he opens the book, page 53, and starts teaching. Of course, you will lock your eyes on the clock counting the seconds for the class to end. This teacher could be the greatest scientist of all time, but who cares when no one’s listening.
That’s exactly the point of this episode!
attention comes from preparation,
if you want to sell someone food, first, need to make them hungry, physically and mentally!
to make this simpler, if you want to talk, first, need to make them listen.
I think business is like a bottle of water, you’re pouring it down all the time, hoping people would see the freshness and clarity of it. But you’re wasting the water, your potential, and your skills; You’re wasting them if you don’t have storage planned out to hold and present them to the audience.
There’s only one way of catching everyone’s eyes, by believing in one thing!
to find an everlasting audience, you should set up the right platform and wait to be found.
There’s a big difference between you finding your customers rather than customers finding you,
it is that when they find something,
they see it as an achievement,
something that they’ve earned
and at that moment you don’t need to prove anything to them
Their mentality is doing your job for you!
So what raises the possibility of a platform to be found all on its own?
to build this so-called “perfect” platform, you need to study the environment you’re in; it consists of cultural red lines, society’s priorities, targeted customer beliefs, and their level of knowledge.
It’s easy to lose sight of what you were initially looking for in a sea of data, but try to remember
It’s the gap, that your skills can fill.
It’s the problem that needs fixing with your company’s perfect solution.
thank you for your time, and stay tuned for more of visual reaction design.
